Two Doncaster companies team up to make significant growth a reality

Two of the boroughs leading companies in their respective industries have joined forces to ensure significant growth plans are firmly on the cards come 2019.

Go Green, a leading waste management and recycling company has appointed ACS, a family run specialist IT company and the town’s only Sage200 provider to work with them on all their financial technology solutions as the accounting software the company was using was outdated and simply not up to the tasks the organisation was asking of it.

Go Green based in Doncaster required a modernised solution to their accounts software after the company had seen significant growth over the last couple of years.

Roger Wells, operations and compliance director at Go Green said: “Our Sage50 system was ready to fail as it had reached full capacity. As a very IT orientated business we required a solution that enabled us to integrate all areas of the business, and it was vital we adopted a system that would withstand our future vision of growth for the company.

“We subsequently started looking into upgrading our software and Sage200 fitted the bill perfectly. ACS is located just on our doorstep and is the only Sage200 supplier in Doncaster. We always like to spend locally where possible, so we set up a meeting and haven’t looked back since.”

The ACS Sage consultants visited Go Green and assessed their current systems and processes and discussed with the senior management team the vision for the company. Sage200 was agreed and ACS was appointed to take on the challenging installation project.

Detailed planning was crucial to ensure limited downtime and disruption to the company whilst the system integration took place. This ensured that the Go Green team could continue to work with clients nationwide with no disruption to service.

Roger continues: “The entire integration was seamless, efficient and was delivered to budget and timeframe. Having the Sage200 system will now mean that we as a company can take a step closer to our three-year goal of 20% growth year on year and becoming a major player in the district.
