Brief

XBlades Sports is an international sports brand offering a mixture of clothing, apparel and equipment championed by some of the biggest names in worldwide rugby!

Alongside other marketing avenues, the sports brand already had Facebook, Twitter and Google+ set up but weren’t using it to its full potential due to customer demand and work elsewhere in the company.

They approached Talk To Media after we successfully designed and built their new website to manage the social media platforms to ensure all key messages were transparent across all marketing platforms.

Solution

We initially put together a 13 trial Social Media campaign for them in which we would manage every aspect on their social activity to ultimately build their online customer base, drive more traffic to their website and increase sales of the range of sports products available.

Outcome

Since taking over the management of the social media platforms, Facebook likes to the page have increased by almost 5,000, post engagement is up on average of 48% week on week and the company is now engaging with fans of the brand on a daily basis – taking orders through the platforms.

A mixture of engaging content, offers, competitions, industry and player news keeps the fans interested and visiting the page on a daily basis.

Since November 2015, XBlades has received 1,417,064 unique impressions and has sports stars right across the world engaging with their posts, tweeting about the brand and helping to further spread the word about this fantastic brand that only came to the UK in 2012.
