Charity Football match - keepmoat Stadium

ACS Director hits back of the net!

Last weekend a selection of Doncaster businessmen played alongside their footballing heroes as Doncaster Rovers Legends took on Leeds United Legends to raise money for the Eve Merton Dreams Trust.

The annual event took place at the Keepmoat Stadium with thousands of fans flocking to watch the action-packed game!

ACS Director Kevin McEwen was one of the lucky few to join the likes of James Hayter, Brian Stock, Mark Albrighton and Jason Price on the Doncaster Rovers Legends team and scored a cracking goal in the process.

The Doncaster Rovers Legends took an 8-4 victory with help from a James Hayter hat-trick in the match that was tipped to raise thousands for the Doncaster based cancer charity who aim to help the people of the town who are suffering with serious or terminally ill Cancer.

Kevin alone managed to raise a fantastic sum of £3297.50 which will go towards the final amount that is still being collated. All monies raised will contribute towards patients & their families in fulfilling a dream or granting a wish, even if – only for a day.

Other famous faces to grace the pitch were Danny Mills, Rod Wallace, Julian Joachim and Neil Sullivan.

Keep an eye on the Eve Merton website for the final total raised.
